Totally agree his softly softly approach on government ministers is astounding. Yet when it’s an opposition TD like Sinn Fein, independents and the like he’s no problem ripping them a new one. Sean o Rourke on the other hand not afraid to rattle even the mighty Michael Noonan in an interview has my respect more like him please.
He’s not supposed to be hard-hitting., He presents a news bulletin, not an analysis or debate programme. Television has traditionally seperated the two genres for good reasons.
